Yes ! It is December! Soon to be Christmas – my favourite time of the year – lots of extra attention from my humans, visitors coming to stay , pressies, and extra tasty food! Not to mention cards and decorations to knock over! I wonder if my humans will have a tree again this year? Last year they had a real tree in the dining room, which made me think I was in the forest all the time! And we had a small artificial tree, initially in the living room but that had to get moved after Monty and I knocked it over too often!

Anyway, all sensible organised humans and canines have done their Christmas shopping. Hilary went into Perth on Friday morning as she was on holiday that day to finish hers, and I took the opportunity of avoiding the busy shops myself by giving her a list of things to get for me. I also being an intelligent dog can order on-line, so thanks to Amazon that is my shopping complete and I sit back and relax while Tim just starts to think about his!!

And I found out that Hilary has bought me a present from her and Tim! She won’t tell me what it is and has already wrapped it and hidden it away. Still, now I am big and mature I don’t mind waiting. I might ask Tim, but I have a feeling he doesn’t know what it is either, as he still thinks it is too early to think about Christmas! Bah humbug!
