I was glad to hear Henry cat’s favourite human is with him for Christmas. Sorry to see he has not been well, but hope a few days of your company Henry will perk him up.

I am getting rather excited now as I have just been told it is Hilary’s last day of work, and when she returns tonight, she will have Laura with her! Yes, one of my beloved extra humans is coming to stay! (I can’t have favourites as that isn’t fair but I am very fond of Laura who often lets me do things with her and, of course, finally let me chase sheep not long ago!) Hilary was getting her room ready and I have tested the bed and left some welcoming hairs around the place for her.

Then, tomorrow, more visitors! Brian (of the very occasional grumpy blog fame) and Dora are coming then! That will be good fun too and I think they will be stunned with how well behaved, calm, and mature I am these days. well, maybe. Tim is really pleased as Dora has already offered to do all his ironing for him!!!!

Finally, on Sunday, just in time for the Carol Service (to which dogs are not invited but I will hear the singing from the house) my other extra human Bryony and her boyfriend Tom are coming too! Bryony has a special place in my heart since she encouraged me to sit on the sofa. I am hoping this time she will encourage my usual humans to let me sleep on a proper bed.

So, as you can see I will have SEVEN humans (all proper sized Henry, none of these crawling annoying little humans for me) plus Monty cat to keep in order over Christmas!
