I hope you all had a lovely christmas. As I suspected it was fun and very busy here with lots of attention for me! Seven humans to keep in order and see what they were up to- I was exhausted and had no time to blog the last few days!

However Tom, Brian and Dora, have all now departed so I am left just with my two usual humans and my two extra humans, which will be a bit more manageable for me. It is just as well really as I am an an injured dog at the moment. Yesterday Hilary and Laura took me for a lovely long walk and at one point I chased a deer into the woods. I was too excited to watch where I was going I think, and managed to injure my leg. (only one leg- my rear right I think!) there was blood dripping everywhere it was all very exciting. I managed to hobble home which was just as well as i am too heavy for my humans to carry, and then was advised to rest and take it easy. There was even a mention of me going to see the nasty Vet human, but luckily I am better today so they decided I didn’t need to go. (phew, the vet might have caused more injuries)

But it was quite good really despite the pain, as I got to lie on the sofa and be made a fuss over. Later in the evening the humans played a game and three of them had to sit on the floor, while I lay on the sofa (my sick bed) in comfort, watching and laughing at them making fools of themselves. And they even brought in my meal and my water to the living room.

Anyway i must go and rest again now and i will blog again soon and tell you about my Christmas presents!
