My female human is too easily impressed.

Yesterday, as Monty wasn’t in at breakfast time, she only put out half the sachet of cat food for him, so that it wouldn’t go off if he decided to stay out longer. Then as she moaned at having to go off to work later on, she forgot to give him the rest of the sachet as she had intended. No problem for Monty though- he got it himself!

He must have seen- and smelt- the half-full fishy food pouch on it’s shelf, and managed to knock it down, and then tear at it to extract the yummy contents. It was posh cat food too- Whiskas “Oh so fishy” that he had been given for Christmas. (Monty says it is much tastier than regular Whiskas, Henry, you should ask your humans for it) . It had real pieces of trout in and actually smelt delicious!

Anywhen Hilary finally returned home tonight she found the sachet neatly shredded – and empty – on the floor!

She was incredibly impressed with Monty for some reason. But think, she will be even more impressed with me when I manage to open my own dog food tins!
