My humans have changed their allegiences! No- they are not voting Conservative, exchanging me for a rabbit, or worshipping in a synagogue, it is all to do with newspapers!

For ages they have had two newspapers a day, which I sometimes help fetch from the post office where they are put aside for us. It has been the Guardian and the Herald for some time, and I have enjoyed reading the articles and catching up on the news from the human world when I get a chance. Indeed, sometimes I think I am the only one who actually reads the paper – they sometimes lie around the kitchen for a while and then get put straight in the recycling bin- or used to start the fire!

Anyway Brian, if you are reading this, calm down. Tim has not swopped the Guardian for the Daily Mail! Rather it is bye bye Herald and hello Scotsman! Yes, the humans are now getting that fine paper, the same as yours Henry cat! I still think it should be renamed Scotsdog, or even Scotscat, but I must say I am enjoying reading it and it a very comfortable size of paper to hold in my paws! Maybe it will have some exciting canine stories soon-I will keep an eye out!
