No- not the weather- Tim’s tea!

Last night he made chilli for tea, and as usual, had to make a nice regular version for my sensible female human, and an extra hot chillified version for himself. The trouble was we were nearly out of chilli powder, which Hilary thought she had ordered with the last grocery order – only somehow she seems to have paprika instead!

So Tim had to nip out to the local shop to get some more while my female human felt increasingly guilty and stupid at her shopping failure!

Anyway the food was finally ready and Hilary sat down to enjoy hers, which she commented was milder than usual. Tim meanwhile spiced his up in the pan with the new chilli powder and then sat down with his, only to find it was incredibly HOT!

He could hardly eat it! Yes, my big brave strong human had to go get a glass of water! And he was panting and sweating away as he struggled to eat his extra hot meal! I think the new chilli powder must have been much stronger than the usual kind!

Hilary tasted one of his kidney beans and struggled to swallow it as she said it was inedible!

I did offer him some of my dog food if he preferred to eat that, but he declined preferring to persevere with his chilli- although he didn’t manage to clear his plate! It was very funny!
