At the moment my male human is on a get-up-early-to get-lots done-in-the day- spree. This means I get my morning walk very early in the morning now- just after 6am sometimes, so that I am usually back home again while my lazy female human is still getting up to start her day!

It is nice being out early in this Spring weather but the only problem is it can be a very long day afterwards! Still, lots of snoozing opportunities which always goes down well. The other potential bonus (which I am still working on) is that I think it may be possible for me to get fed TWO breakfasts – one from each of my humans.

You see, I do not get fed till after my walks, which, on weekdays means it is usually my male human who feeds me as my female human is at work. (Remember until recently my male human was often still in bed when she left for work, and then eventually got up to walk me, and then feed me)

But now Hilary is around at my breakfast time so if I can convince Tim to feed me on my return….. eat it all up before Hilary comes in to the kitchen for her breakfast, then all I need to do is to look pathetic and hungry, look longingly at her food, and tap my empty bowl pathetically- and – hey presto- she will immediately give me another breakfast!

This NEARLY worked today. She told me she would feed me in a minute! (she was busy making her packed lunch) But sadly for me, Tim came back into the room and she checked with him and he told her he had indeed already fed me.

Still, there is always tomorrow! (and I did get to lick out a tuna tin that she had used for a sandwich filling (the tuna that is, not the metal, that would be a crunch too far)
