A very Happy Easter! Hope you are having a lovely day. I was really excited this morning as we awoke to snow- it was a White Easter this year! I took my female human for our usual forest walk and got her to take some photos of me in the snow. I think I look incredibly handsome, don’t you?

I thought the forest looked really beautiful in the snow and the sun, and was really peaceful – apart from two deer and lots of birds we didn’t see anyone, and enjoyed our quiet walk with lots of interesting smells for me to explore.

I also posed briefly beside some yellow flower things in our front garden as Hilary said it would make a nice Easter picture!

When we came back from our walk Tim was busy in the garden hiding lots of hard boiled eggs. Sadly these were not for me but for the children at church, who got an Egg Hunt during the sermon. I watched them from the window barking madly but meanly I wasn’t allowed to join in!

My humans said it was a special service at church today for Easter. It was certainly longer than usual and there were funny smells wafting up from church. Tim said that was smelly stuff called incense. They also had a new fire which sounded rather exciting and I am glad they didn’t actually set fire to the church. I found out that this fire had been started in one of my bowls- a small sized metal bowl I had had as a puppy! Ah well, it is nice to know I can contribute to the life of the church in my own way, even if I don’t get to attend services!
