Last night I got to sleep in the humans’ bedroom!

I am not sure why- I came upstairs with Tim as usual , a while after Hilary had gone to bed, and , as sometimes happens Monty cat was sleeping curled up beside her, and was forcibly ejected from the room by Tim.

Then I sneaked into the room (and sneaking when you are my size is quite a challenge) and lay on the bed cuddling Hilary and smelling where Monty had lain! Tim for some reason thought this was really cute, and, as he got ready for bed himself he left me alone- although I expected to be ejected from the room at any moment as the cat had been! I don’t know if he was full of Easter euphoria – or possibly too much alcohol- but he let me stay- for the first time ever!

So no banishment, Tim managed to get into bed as well and believe me two humans and a German Shepherd on the bed means not enough room for anyone. I tried to get comfy but the humans seemed to complain when I lay on top of them! They need a bigger bed if they want to sleep there too.

So I had a wee wander round the room instead and found some interesting items like shoes, and, eventually I realised that Tim has fallen asleep and I was still there! Yes! I had made it! Sleeping with my humans – however I decided to be considerate and give them the bed and sleep on the floor (which is actually quite comfy) where I stayed most of the night , just getting uo occassionally to check on the humans and lick their faces.

The moment was shattered though about 6am I think when Monty decided to join us. Naturally I started to chase him around the room which led to a sleepy Tim throwing us both out! However I did overhear Tim saying this morning that he had been really impressed with me last night, so I am hopeful this may become a regular occurance!
