Guess what! I am home again!

I have finally been released from my prison! I was just settling into another day of prison life this morning, overhearing some of the other inmates being taken to the exercise yard and wondering if I would get a turn, when I heard the sound of my female human’s voice! Yes! She had come for me and paid the warder the ransom to get me out! Brilliant!

I was delighted to see her again, though I couldn’t help but remember she had been the one who had left me there in the first place. Mind you, my male human Tim was there then too, so maybe it was his idea. There is no sign of him around the house yet so maybe he is hiding as he felt guilty at abandoning me, or maybe he is having to work really hard- for once!

My kind female human took the morning off work so after my release we went for a proper walk, and I got extra company then from my friend Mary who we bumped into coming back from feeding her stray cat. He is also called Henry which is rather confusing.

Then Hilary had to go to work and i made sure she felt really guilty at abandoning me again so soon, as I stood forelornly at the window watching her drive away, before having a comfortable snooze on my sofa in peace.

Oh, the cat is back too, so I have been able to chase him around the house again!
