Good news!

Monty is home! Safe and well!

What a relief!

My female human was in tears again this morning, as she headed off to work sans glimpse of Monty again. She reminded Tim to text her if he came home while he was there, and all through the day checked her mobile phone for the reassuring text- in vain.

Eventually she came home from work, and her heart sunk at no sign of Monty waiting on the doorstep. She got ready to take me for my walk, and decided we would have a look round the back of our house, where, yesterday, there had been a rather tasty tempting half dead rabbit on the grass. (The rabbit wad fully dead you understand but there was only half of it)

There was no sign of the rabbit which cheered Hilary up as she doesn’t like such things and squeals in disgust at them. She also thought that there was a chance Monty might have moved (and presumably devoured!) it. She called out for Monty and miracle of miracles we heard a miauw!!!!

A few minutes later Monty appeared fighting his way through the undergrowth towards us! Hilary burst into tears again – but this time of relief and joy!

Mpnty looks none the worse for his adventures, though Hilary said he was rather hungry and started eating his tea as she was still serving it up! We took some photos and i was going to put them on this blog, except I cannot find the lead to connect the computer and the camera- and my clever male human (who knows all these sort of things) is still out. So you will have to wait!

But for now, the little pest just won’t settle indoors and wants to go outside again! Honestly- what is that cat like?
