Photo time!

Monty playing with Hilary's foot My clever male human has found the lead to connect the camera and the computer, so I have asked my female slave, oops, human, to put some photos up. First, here are a couple of Monty just after he returned home from his wanderings earlier this week!

Monty rolling on the floor As you can see he is looking well- playing with Hilary’s foot and then rolling around the floor of his room! He certainly seemed none the worse for his adventures and was keen to get back outside again! He even got out the first night he came home by sneaking outside when Hilary was busy with the Tesco delivery! I have noticed though he has not gone very far away since then though, and often is lying in the porch basking in the sun!

max about to get the ball Now that is enough about Monty. After all he is only a cat. This is my blog after all.

Here are some pictures of me playing in the field tonight. I have been trying to teach my humans to play ball with me. My male human is doing very well and remembers to take a ball with us most times we go out. He throws it well and it is a joy fetching the ball for him. I am now trying to train my female human to play with me too.

max sitting waiting But my female human still has a lot to learn. She doesn’t throw the ball very well at all. She complains it is soggy and dirty.

And she seems to expect me to bring it all the way back to her after I have gone and found it! usually i want to carry it around a bit first!

Anyway here I am sitting patiently waiting for her to throw it while she dithered around with the camera.

max with ball in mouth

Here I am with the ball in my mouth. Incidently, this is one of the tennis balls that Henry the cat left as a present for me some time ago. They are excellent fun Henry and as you can see I haven’t chewed them all up yet! So thanks again Henry!

max distracted by the tractor It is great fun playing in the field at the back of our house. As well as the rabbits and birds to chase, and the ball games my humans, there are also exciting things like traffic going by – here I am being rather distracted from the ball by the approach of a tractor in the road!

My female human apologises for the overlapping alignment of some of these photos but it has taken her over an hour and a half to assist me with this photo blog and she needs to go make the tea now!
