Sorry for the lack of blogs over the past few days. I have just been very busy looking after my male human while my female human was away for work, then, when she returned, I had to pamper her!

Poor Hilary still has her cold- and amazingly hasn’t passed it on to Tim (yet). She seems to have stopped the constant sneezing and drippy nose stage but is still very conjested and bunged up and achy, and seems to be tired all the time – she went to bed at 8.30 last night! I came to check on her a wee bit later and got told off for lying on the clean sheets!

Tim has been very supportive – even if he has been calling her Snotster! (a term of endearment so he says)

Anyway life is back to normal for me now. I have enjoyed playing games with my humans. They are getting quite good with the tennis ball now. Hilary wears gloves so she doesnt’ get her hands so dirty. The only problem is the glove gets very muddy and soggy! Yesterday Hilary played ball with me on my usual walk, which was great fun. I got it back from the fields, over the ditch and even in the stream! Sadly when we got to the woods I ran off chasing a deer with the ball in my mouth, and managed to lose it. (both the deer and the ball). Hilary was a bit annoyed that we had lost the ball. Maybe the deer is now playing tennis in the woods?

I lost a ball on Thursday night too when Tim took me for a late walk in the field after he got home. The trouble was it was dark and we managed to lose the ball – he couldn’t see it and even by expert nose couldn’t locate it – it is harder smelling things in the dark!

So today my female human – maybe I should call her Snotster too- decided we weren’t taking a ball with us on my walk. Luckily we found a nice stick and played with that instead till it fell apart!
