I went to the vet human with Tim this afternoon, which was actually great fun and no nasty jabs much to my relief. As always I was much admired – one person who saw me commented I was “beautiful”.

Anyway the vet checked out my ears and I have (bit embarrassing this) ear mites! So I have special ointment for this which my humans must apply generously twice a day. I wasn’t quite ready for Tim tonight so forgot to shake my head vehemently as he did it, so the stuff stayed in instead of all spraying out over him, which would be more fun. Next time…..

The vet also says I might have an eye infection as my eyes are a bit red – my humans had been worried about the gunk in the eyes recently which has needed a lot of bathing. If this doesn’t clear up itself in a couple of days they have to use eye drops for me too! That will also be quite good fun – hope they use the right oitments in the right places.

I don’t think I can blame Snotster for passing on her cold though – she tells me she definitely doesn’t have ear mites. So my main suspect is young Monty – who does seem to have little black things crawling around huis ears and I suspect he will need to go to the vet person too and get checked out!
