It is Hilary (formerly known as Snotster but now virtually recovered from her cold so this is deemed innappropriate) ’s birthday today! She got cards and pressies and went out for a meal after work with a friend. I didn’t bother getting her anything, but Monty kindly caught her a young rabbit and brought it home tonight.

Hilary was not very impressed and squealled in disgust and called on my brave strong male human to deal with it, and get the rabbit (still alive but very scared) out of the porch. He managed to do this and the rabbit hopped away into the garden , it looked alright despite being carried around in Monty’s mouth! It was a very little rabbit- I expect Monty had chosen it specially to be cute and appealling for Hilary.

Hilary is now 41 and says that is old (but not as old as Tim) and she still never wants to grow up. Very sensible.
