Looking out of the window

5 05 2008 - 10:02

One of my hobbies is looking out of the window. It helps to pass the time and sometimes there are exciting things happening out there, which I can bark at! Sometimes there are people or cars coming up our drive or to the back door of the church, but mostly it is animals and birds in the garden- or even a leaf blowing in the breeze that gets my attention!

One thing we are not short of here are rabbits. There are heaps of them in the garden, and very useful they are too- providing entertainment for me and Monty, and also nibbling away at our grass. My humans do not like gardening and the church gardener, who used to cut our grass too, has just retired, so I suspect our grass is going to get longer and longer in the next few months- so the rabbits will be especially welcome!

watching the rabbitThe other day there was a rabbit on the lawn nibbling away – and Monty and I watched from the window, wishing we were out there chasing it. Hilary thought we looked very cute together and took a photo. You can’t really see the rabbit- but Monty and I do look handsome together, don’t we?
