Human friends!

10 05 2008 - 19:00

Last night I was dozing on the sofa beside Hilary when all of a sudden I heard humans approaching!

I ran to the window and barked madly alerting my humans- who reassured me they were expecting my extra human, Bryony, to pop in to collect something. (That in itself is a long saga – essentially my male human had possession of the”Brechin Cross” that belongs to the provincial youth network and was thought by many to be missing….. when all the time he was using it as a bookend!)

Anyway it was indeed Bryony, accompanied by her entourage of four young men- all of whom I greeted in the usual way by jumping up at! One of them was my friend Tom (who I told you about at Christmas when he vistied me). The other three were brothers (Neil, Douglas and Gordon) and they were delighted to meet me as they had read my blog but not met me in person- or, rather, canine! They were all off to a training session for youth leaders for the holiday at Glenalmond in the summer. (I am actually quite worried that they are meant to be the responsible leaders. The poor delegates won’t know what has hit them)

Anyway, they only stayed a few minutes but long enough for me to remind them that i would really appreciate a comment or two on my blog!

Then, today Hilary got as text from my friend Clare – who is a regular commentator on my blogs, (and a friend to Dunfermline rabbits by all accounts). Anyway, Clare is in the area next weekend and going to stay here on Friday night! I am really looking forward to seeing her again and planning our July time together when she will come and stay with me while me humans are away.
