Tim must have forgiven me for not catching him a rabbit yesterday! He has given me the power to moderate comments on this site!

If you have been reading Tim’s blogs recently – and yes, he started re-blogging a few days ago, and seems to think if he does several a day we will all forgive him for being absent for well over a year. I don’t think so. People (and dogs and cats) want consistency, and trust, and reliable bloggers like me!

Anyway where was I? Oh yes, Tim blogged about comment moderation a couple of days ago. We have had a lot of unwelcome spam comments on this site and so he has had to put in a feature where comments get checked over before they can be published. That means all the spam ones can be deleted straight away and will not appear on the site.

After a request from me, he has now given me permission to access this and moderate the comments! previously when I clicked on comments it said “access is denied” which seemed rather mean. A bit like a bedroom door being shut in your face or a baby gate being out across the cat’s room…...

But now Tim knows I am responsible and trustworthy and I have permissions! I have just been in into view the comments and have deleted lots of old spam ones for him. It was quite fun ticking the boxes to do this. I just had to be careful with my paws to get the right ones or I might have deleted real comments from my friends!

Anyway hopefully this means I can check for comments regularly and there won’t be too long before they can be active! So please keep commenting!
