As a dog, I don’t get to drink tea, coffee, beer, wine, juice or anything so interesting. Just water. And tap water at that- no posh bottled water for me! I do of course get puddle and stream water from outside too- and that can be deliciously stagnant and full of goodness!

But my water bowl in the house, which sits on the kitchen floor near the fridge, is just tap water. Unless of course I get some additives.

Sometimes the humans are cooking and things fall into my water. Usually it is boring things like carrots and mushrooms. Some times it is a bit of chicken, cheese or something more tasty. Occasionally things fall out the cupboard- one day it was an open pack of noodles! The humans were not amused as they had to be binned!

But yesterday as Tim was cooking tea there was a loud splash from my bowl and it was his mobile phone! Yes, his mobile had fallen from his pocket into my water bowl. I thought for a second I was going to be allowed to chew it up (I have enjoyed chewing up two mobiles before!) but he retreived it! He is now trying to dry it out in the vain hope that it might actually start working again… but somehow I doubt it!
