I got a surprise when I went into my field with Hilary tonight!

They have started to cut the grass! It is quite a relief actually as it has been so long recently it is very hard work to run through (the humans moan like mad especially when it is wet). These are some photos of the field this weekend when my friend Clare was here. As you can see the grass was needing a trim!

But tonight – they have shaved away at the edges of my field and there is now a nice path all the way round the field. Hilary hadn’t taken the camera with her so couldn’t take any photos, but take my word for it, it was much better. There was still lots of long grass in the middle of the field so I could cavort around there, chasing the rabbits!

At one point I was in the long grass doing just that and realised I had lost sight of my human. Hilary was hiding from me – crouching down at the edge of the long grass! I was not amused.

The funniest thing though was that all the cut grass kept irriatating Hilary (who gets hayfever and reacts to cut grass) so she was rather sniffly and itchy!!!
