Today we have had two people round from different removal firms to give us a quote for moving house! We are moving at the start of September to Dunfermline.

It has been very exciting as I had to show them all round the house and point out what things we are taking, and what was staying etc. I also had to check them out and make sure they were friendly with dogs!

I was a bit perturbed however to hear my humans tell them that, for the occassion of the move, myself and young Monty will be sent to prison. But Hilary reassured me that would only be for a couple of days and would be much safer and easier for me than being at home with people and furniture coming and going! I suppose Monty cat could easily have hidden in a box, and it would be rather distressing seeing all our things being packed up and taken away!

And anyway, this way I avoid all the hard work (much like Hilary who will be at work in Dundee over the moving day). I will think of it as a mini holiday and when I get released it will be to my new home in Dunfermline!!
