It isn’t long now till the holidays! A week tomorrow my humans are deserting me and Monty and jetting off to Gozo and Malta for a fortnight. Tim is looking forward to some decent weather, and judging by the amount of novels Hilary has looked out to take she plans some serious relaxing time.

I am staying here, which is not as exciting as going away on holiday, but way better than the alternative custodial sentence in dog prison! My friend Clare is coming to look after me (and Monty) and I am really looking forward to having fun with her. She is currently away on her own holiday in Holland so hopefully will be all refreshed and relaxed when she gets here!

Anyway as well as packing their clothes and things (which of course my male human won’t start thinking about for another week) they had to get supplies in for me and Monty. We need our usual food for this week plus the two weeks Clare is looking after us, and a few days after that till they get round to shopping again!

So today Hilary headed off to the shops and stocked up. The utility room now looks like a dog food store… there are
