Well, holiday time is finally here. The house is a hive of activity as my humans fly around doing last minute jobs. Hilary has now managed to squeeze her suitcase shut- and weighed it on the bathroom scales, at 19.1 kg it is JUST under the airline weight allowance!

Tim has done his last church service, and his weekly sheets for the weeks he is away, and is now in the middle of packing as I write this, fairly early for him, as its still 13 hours till they leave .(at 5.30 am tomorrow) He is currently ironing his summer clothes while listening to the cricket and I have been helping him by lying on the bed and making sure the pile of clothes waiting to be ironed are well and truely creased.

So, my humans are off to Malta and Gozo for a fortnight to enjoy some sun and some rest and relaxation. I do hope they remember to send me a a postcard!

And as for me, well I am holidaying at home this year, along with Monty. We are lucky to have a very special human, my friend Clare, coming to spend time with us. She is currently driving down the A90 from Aberdeen to get here!

I am sure we will have great fun with Clare. I was a bit worried she might forget things my humans told her, so I have written out a detailed care plan for her. My female human says these are now called “Personal Plans” at work so I have called mine “My Dogonal Plan”. It is three pages long! Monty only managed to write one page on his support needs, and my human (the female one obviously) wrote a further two pages on the House, their Itinery, and General Information. Poor Clare, it is an essay, what a lot of reading for her! But I do hope she perseveres till the end as the very last paragraph tells her about my birthday next weekend and where my presents are hidden!!
