I escaped!

Clare’s been here less than 24 hours and already I’ve managed to escape. Today she’d been out for a run and came home and went straight to the kitchen for a drink. It was only then that she realised I’d escaped as she hadn’t shut the front door properly.
Luckily for her Monty was outside so I stopped to speak to him. Clare was not very amused when I ignored her calls so she went in a huff and ignored me! Can you believe it? The cheek of her. Instead of fussing over me (I was running around the lawn at high speed) she made a fuss of Monty so I had to see what that was all about. I then decided I would be nice to her since it’s her first day and return to the house without too much more fuss.
