All of us – absolutely soaked! I’m glad that my humans (Hilary and Tim) are having such a lovely time and enjoying the sunshine. Clare, Monty and I have had to endure some rather heavy rain this afternoon.

It’s been a bit humid and overcast all day, so when Clare came home from her run she checked the forecast. It suggested that there was going to be heavy rain into the evening, so in her wisdom, she decided we’d go out now and she could shower on return. Oh my goodness, did it rain! I got wet through, and Clare got soaked to the skin. We’re just home and she’s had to strip off her clothes at the washing machine. I don’t think she’ll bother having a shower now as everything has had a very good wash.

Poor Monty’s just come in too. Clare said he looked a bit like a drowned rabbit. Unlike me, the model dog, I don’t think Monty was too impressed by Clare’s efforts to rub him down with a towel. He even considered going back out again.

Anyway, that’s me been walked twice today, so if it continues raining I guess I’ll make do with a walk around the garden, and Monty will have to make do with another night in.
