A Special Day Tomorrow

Why? I bet you’re all asking. Well, it’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m going to be 3 years old! I’m going to be incredibly grown up tomorrow, and I’m having a birthday party. Bruce (Clare’s significant human) is coming to stay with us for the night and I overheard Clare telling him she’ll book a table at the hotel for dinner. I’ve never been to the hotel for dinner before – it must be because I’ll be 3 that I’m allowed to go now.
I hope that Monty comes back for my party. He’s not been seen since yesterday and despite the rain there’s no sign of him. Clare’s hoping he’ll return on one of our trips to the garden this evening. He often appears from nowhere when I’m around and comes and rubs against me. It would be a shame if he missed my birthday.
