Good morning. Max has very kindly allowed me to blog for him today as he’s too excited right now to do it himself. As you may be aware, it’s Max’s birthday today and he’s 3! We’re just up, and in the true style of birthdays, he was allowed to open his presents before doing anything else. (And he had the joy of me singing happy birthday to him).

Max was most delighted with the presents that Hilary and Tim left for him. He’s now running around like an overgrown puppy wearing his very handsome brown leather collar, and throwing around a huge beef flavoured chewy bone and a new chunky hoop toy. Very happy indeed.

I’m ashamed to say that I’ve not been organised enough myself to have a birthday present for him (yet) but need to go shopping later. Right now we’re heading for the forest for his first birthday walk.
