Grass Cutting

Oh dear… we couldn’t go for a walk round my field last night as the tractor was in it and cutting the grass. You may remember a while back that the farmer had cut around the outside of the field but left the centre very long indeed. Well, he was there again this morning and it appears that it’s all been cut now. From the look of things the grass is going to be left to dry out and then collected for bales.
Clare and I aren’t very happy as we like walking in the field regularly. The cheek of the man – fancy doing something like that without consulting with us first! Even worse, it might mean that there are some beasts moving into the field and I’ll not be allowed there at all. I’ll keep you all posted.
