Feeling Neglected

22 07 2008 - 21:17

I’m feeling a bit hard done by today. Clare and I went for our forest walk as usual this morning which was good fun. I met a couple of joggers with their dogs who I got to play with. Being 3, I came back when Clare asked me to and didn’t chase after them.

But then we came home and Clare started doing some work (for a uni course that she’s doing) and spent the rest of the day ignoring me. After all that, do you know what she did? She went off to Dundee for a run around Camperdown Park without me! What with running and working on stuff for Uni I’m hardly getting any attention at all!

I’ve had my evening walk – we went to Gallowflat – and I’ve now come up with a cunning plan. Clare’s sitting with no shoes on and I’m playing with my big heavy yellow ball (you know the one Hilary & Tim, although I don’t know why I’m mentioning my male human – he ignores me even more than Clare does – not once has he commented on my blog & he probably hasn’t read it either). Anyway, I digress. The cunning plan is that I’m going to ‘accidentally’ drop my big heavy yellow ball on Clare’s toes one of these times when I take it back. We’ll see how much running she can do then, won’t we?!
