TIM! TIM! Sit up and take notice! You’re far more likely to respond sympathetically to my demands than Hilary – she’ll probably just think it’s funny! She always has favoured cats over dogs, which is just totally wrong.

Last night, Clare found Monty in the kitchen, having had breakfast, lunch and tea – greedy cat. And do you know what he was doing? He was drinking from MY water bowl. His own water bowl in his room was completely untouched! Then, do you know what he did next? Guess! Go on, have a guess! He stretched up to his full height, leant over and started eating from my food bowl! MY food bowl!!! Can you believe it?

Well, all I can say is, it’s just as well that I wasn’t in the kitchen at the time of all this happening or there is no way on this earth that that cat would have made it back upstairs to receive his 4th meal of the day (which he was meowing for loudly) or indeed his breakfast this morning.

So, on that note, I demand my own room in the new house! Never mind rooms for the cat, Laura, Bryony or any other guest humans. Get your priorities in life right! ME!!!
