back to normal!

The holidays are over!
My regular humans returned about lunchtime having had a brilliant holiday in Gozo and Malta by all accounts. It was great to see them again – I jumped all over them but soon settled down as I remembered I am a mature three year old dog now, so shouldn’t need to go loopy or huffy!
They had a cuppa and chat with Clare who said lots of nice things about me.I was really quite embarassed by all the compliments! I have really enjoyed having Clare to stay with me and hope she will come again, to my new house in Dunfermline next time, of course! I was also very impressed to hear Clare tell Hilary that despite looking after Monty for a fortnight she was still not a cat lover! Yah! Victory for us dogs yet again!!!
Anyway Hilary spent most of the afternoon unpacking and doing endless amounts of laundry (honestly- it is such a faff all these clothes humans have to wear, so much easier being a dog. One collar and I am done. ) She also put away a huge grocery order that she had done before they left, being an organised person.
Tim spent all afternoon playing with his new toy. It is called Garmin and is a satnav. I didn’t know wha that meant but Tim told me it is a clever thing to use in the car to tell you where to go. My humans had one in Malta and Tim was so impressed with it he has bought one for himself – ordering it over the internet while he was away so it was here on his return! That is very organised for him!
He is now using it to drive everywhere and try it out. You can programme in different places like home, the lager shop, and of course the start of all my walks! I expect I will get to try it out soon!
Welcome back Tim and Hilary and thanks for a wonderful time Clare!
