It was quite funny tonight. My female human had worked at home today starting very early so she could finish early, and then head into Perth to go and get her hair done and do a few bits and pieces. It was quite nice having her at home today and she took me into the garden at lunchtime.

Anyway when she came back and I had duely admired her hair, it was time (well actually well past the usual time) for my walk. It was raining. So we waited a few long agonising minutes , and then it stopped and off we went. We had a lovely walk and play in the field! Sadly there were no rabbits around to chase but I could still smell them. Hilary kept hiding behind the haybales and I had to find her. At one point I made her jump by sneaking up on her from the other direction!

I was even reasonably good when it was time to get my lead on and go home. We got to the gate of the field (which she managed to open) when it started raining. Not just a little bit. Really raining! I took me time on the way home though Hilary was trying to be quick.

When we got home (after me ignoring a bicycle, chasing a car, and greeting Monty) Hilary’s newly done hair was a complete mess and dripping wet!!
