Tim has worked really hard today and I am most impressed. It is only two weeks till we move (indeed I actually only have another 13 sleeps here as I am off to prison for the few days of chaos over the move).

We are getting the removal men to pack for us, which is brilliant – takes a whole lot of stress away from my humans especially as they are working hard in their jobs now after all their holidays. However the removers will simply pack everything. And that includes rubbish, broken items, old clothes , dirty items and things we do not need! We are also moving to a smaller house (though it is still quite big) so my humans have had to work out what we need to take and what we are leaving (mainly stuff that was already here when we came!)

This means a huge process of sorting. Hilary I think has really enjoyed it. She gets a self satisfied smug feeling when she takes another bag to a charity shop (the PDSA shop, incidently, a well worthy pet charity) or squeezes a bit more in the wheelie bins! She has also been takign down curtains to wash, and moving things around to make it easier for the packers!

But today was Tim’s turn and he started on his study…. a brave venture indeed. I wish I had taken before and after photos. It is now so neat and tidy that Hilary and I thought we had entered the wrong house by mistake!
