I have to tell you about some of Monty’s antics. First, one of the people at church told Hilary and Tim that Monty had been in a huge fight with their cat last weekend! The two cats made a tremendous noise by all accounts and were scrapping away, but Monty seems to be unmarked and and still as confident as ever! He was even seen back on their garden wall the other night!

Another neighbour from church told us that the people who live near them are really pleased to hear that Monty is moving away. Apparently they have several rabbits and guinea pigs and used to have them outside in an uncovered run on the grass…. till Monty came along. I don’t know if Monty has actually caught any of them- but he certainly could!

Finally, I am really jealous of Monty as he did what I have always wanted to do last night. He slept on a human bed! Yes, with Tim being away Hilary managed to have Monty sleeping on her bed ALL NIGHT for the first time ever! She really enjoyed it and said Monty was as good as gold, curled up and sleeping and did not wake her up all night. And me? I had to sleep on the landing floor outside the door again. It is so unfair!

So young Monty is outside here for the last time today. Hilary let him out this morning and told him to make the most of it! I expect he will have lots to report on his return!
