Unlike the owner of this web site (who is my son) I am introverted, not very sociable and I hate uncertainty and change.
When I worked I rarely had time to read newspapers but since I retired I have taken to reading them daily. Through this reading I have discovered that the world is full of uncertainties and is changing rapidly. Until I started reading newspapers I never realised the extent of the problems facing Britain: immigration, failing health and education services, ASBOs, road rage, standards in public life, etc.
I have formed certain opinions about these (and many other issues) which are such that my nearest and dearest accuse me of being a grumpy old man.
My postings on this site may well reflect their opinion of me.
